North Kawartha Township receives $747K through Ontario Municipal Modernization Program: MPP – Peterborough
North Kawartha Township will obtain greater than $747,000 to assist enhance the supply of essential companies and packages and extra, the area’s MPP introduced Monday.
Peterborough-Kawartha MPP Dave Smith say the township’s share of $747,875 is a part of the third and last consumption of the $28M Ontario Municipal Modernization Program and Audit and Accountability Fund introduced in late February.
Since its inception in 2019, the $350M fund has helped a number of hundred municipalities establish and implement options for improved efficiencies and repair supply, infrastructure upgrades and extra.
