New public library in Charlottetown opening July 18

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The long-awaited new public library in Charlottetown will open its doorways on July 18.
The Charlottetown Library Studying Centre, situated within the Dominion Constructing on Queen Avenue, replaces the Confederation Centre Library.
It consists of entry to the Public Library Companies’ library catalogue of books and different gadgets, in addition to a brand new maker house and a podcast recording sales space.

The library incorporates a gaming zone, public computer systems, the kids’s library, assembly rooms and rental house.
Hours of operation have been expanded on the library. It’s open 9:30 a.m. to eight:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to five p.m. Friday to Saturday and 12:30 p.m. to five p.m. Sunday.
