CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A 39-year-old New Brunswick man has been arrested and charged after employees at a Charlottetown enterprise had been threatened at knifepoint early Saturday morning.
Members of the Charlottetown Police Providers had been known as to a enterprise on College Avenue shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 14 following stories from workers who stated an unknown man tried to observe them into the constructing.
When workers instructed the person he was not allowed to enter and pulled the door closed, he allegedly turned aggressive and pulled out a knife to threaten the employees earlier than fleeing the world.
Police had been in a position to establish the suspect by way of video surveillance and arrested him on Queen Road later that afternoon.
He’s been charged with assault with a weapon, breach of a launch order and breach of probation. He was stored in police custody and is scheduled to look in provincial courtroom at this time.
