MURRAY RIVER, P.E.I. — A 62-year-old Murray River man is going through threats and firearms expenses following a standoff with police in the neighborhood on July 30.
The RCMP was first alerted to the scenario at 6:30 p.m., after they acquired a report of a gun being pointed at an different particular person. On arrival, the officers secured the property and ensured that no one else was within the dwelling.
After a number of hours of negotiations, the person surrendered to police with out incident at round midnight. Mounties seized a loaded prohibited revolver.
