A “New Day” for Forks on July 1 as usual Canada Day festivities altered after consultations – Winnipeg

July 1 will look somewhat completely different at The Forks this 12 months.

After holding roundtable discussions with neighborhood members together with indigenous teams, the Forks shall be celebrating a “New Day” on July 1 reasonably than Canada Day.

The day will concentrate on indigenous tradition and “wealthy multicultural experiences”.
