McNeil Takes The 65kg Title At Canadian Wrestling Trials

EDMONTON, ALBERTA – North Carolina wrestler Lachlan McNeil was dominant on the Canadian Wrestling Trials as he earned the 65kg title on Saturday on the College of Alberta Universiade Pavilion. He additionally earned the Most Excellent Wrestler of the Event award and 2021-22 Canadian U20 Wrestler of the Yr. 
 
McNeil began his day with a convincing 11-0 technical fall over Jason Reeves of Brock WC. He got here again even stronger with an 18-8 technical fall over Daniel Coles of London Western WC to advance to the championship match Saturday night time.
