Mary Leona Gormley

Boxford – Mary Leona (Rogerson) Gormley, 86, of Boxford, handed away peacefully on the morning of November 8, at Holy Household Hospital, Methuen.
She was born on Prince Edward Island, Canada, daughter of the late Leo and Madeline (MacDonald) Rogerson, Leona was considered one of ten kids.
She met the love of her life, George, when she was solely ten years outdated, selecting strawberries on the various fields of PEI. She grew up on the household farm and onerous work made her a robust, impartial girl.
George and Lonnie married in 1956, having fun with 35 fantastic years collectively. They have been blessed with 4 kids, Mary Elaine, Elaine Marie, Nancy Jean and James George. They created their house in Billerica previous to relocating to Boxford.
George and Mary began Diversified Enterprise Techniques in 1969, a printing firm in Boston and Haverhill. They labored collectively till George’s passing in 1991 when their daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Jeff Linehan continued the household enterprise.
George and Nonnie shared a love of touring and journey from Massachusetts to PEI, Aruba and the Grand Canyon. Lonnie rode on the again of a Goldwing bike, holding on to George, or in a van, RV, boat or airplane, it did not matter to her for they have been collectively.
Mary was born with the “present of creativity!” She discovered to stitch at a younger age from her mom and continued to turn out to be an completed seamstress. Mary might make something from dolls garments for Barbie, to wedding ceremony attire, there was nothing she could not do!
Her ardour for working in her yard and flower gardens was stunning to see., it introduced her a lot pleasure and peace. Mary fed the birds every day and knew the origin of every.

Lonnie particularly loved her particular time spent together with her son-in-law, Jeff Linehan. They’d go for drives via Newburyport and Plum Island whereas sharing a cup of Dunkin Donuts espresso, to speak and benefit from the surroundings. It was a pleasure for each of them.
She was the spouse of the late George Gormley, mom of the late Mary Elaine Gormley, sister of the late John Rogerson and his spouse Edna, and her brothers-in-law, Ernest Gormley and Jack McKenna.
Mary will probably be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters and son, Elaine Linehan and her husband, Jeffrey of Boxford, Nancy McGee and her husband Stephen of Fremont, NH, James Gormley and his spouse, Sherri of Prince Edward Island, Canada, six grandchildren, Skyla Normand and her husband Keith of Laconia, NH, Christopher McGee and his spouse Nicole of Atkinson, NH, Candace Linehan and husband, Paul Doerr of Wakefield, Caroline Keely and her husband, Andrew of Wakefield, David Gormley and Andrew Gormley of PEI, seven great-grandchildren, Grayson, Quinn Leona, Taylor, Harper, Ashley, Jackson and Logan. Her sisters and brothers embrace, Frank Rogerson, Leonard Rogerson and his spouse Josephine, Joyce McKenna, Celena McNally, Charlie Rogerson, Ellen Ostridge and her husband Melvin, Marlene Hughes and her husband, Lawrence, Sheila Herron, in addition to a number of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Leona stored a particular place in her life for the various buddies and neighbors who she is going to dearly miss.
Relations and buddies are respectfully invited to attend her calling hours on Friday, November 11, from 3 to 7 p.m. on the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral house, 106 Summer time St., Haverhill. Her Funeral will probably be Saturday morning, Nov. 12, starting at 8:30 a.m.on the Funeral Residence, adopted by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Georgetown. Burial will probably be in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
