Marion Reid, former lieutenant-governor of P.E.I., dies at age 94

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Marion Reid, the primary feminine lieutenant-governor of P.E.I. and a member of P.E.I.’s Well-known 5 ladies in politics, has handed away on the age of 94.

Premier Dennis King issued an announcement following her passing on June 22, citing her massive affect within the schooling and political fields on the Island.

Present P.E.I. Lt.-Gov. Antoinette Perry famous that Reid’s efforts in politics within the 90s are a ardour that must be recreated.
