Man seriously injured after crash between transport truck and SUV in Central Bedeque: RCMP

CENTRAL BEDEQUE, P.E.I. — One man is in hospital with critical accidents after a crash between an SUV and tractor-trailer in Central Bedeque on Monday, July 17.

Round 10:20 a.m., Prince District RCMP, Kinkora Hearth Division and EMS responded to the crash on Route 1A close to Route 10, RCMP Const. Gavin Moore informed Saltwire on Monday.

Moore stated one man, a driver of one of many automobiles, was taken to hospital with critical accidents.

Maritime Electrical additionally responded to the scene as a consequence of a downed pole and stay wires on the bottom.

The highway was closed for about two hours.
