Major extension to Charlottetown multi-use pathway underway
CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Building on the second part of the energetic transportation path in Charlottetown is now underway between St. Peters Street and Brackley Level Street.
The primary part, which value $1.65 million, included opening a multi-use pathway from Murchison Lane to St. Peters Street final 12 months.
That part included intersection enhancements and elevated signage and lighting.
The second part is anticipated to value $1.76 million and is because of be completed by the center of June.
The subsequent part includes extending the trail alongside the bypass freeway right down to Mount Edward Street the place it can join with the Confederation Path.
That part can be accomplished in 2023.
This venture is being funded, partially, by the provincial energetic transportation fund.
