A choice of work by Tehran-born, Toronto-based artist Mahsa Merci. Merci holds a bachelor’s diploma in graphic design from Tehran Universtiy of Artwork and a Grasp of Portray from Azad College in Iran. She not too long ago graduated from the Grasp of Fantastic Arts program on the College of Manitoba. Merci has exhibited her work in over fifty solo and group exhibitions around the globe and appeared in varied publications in Iran, the UK, Germany, the USA, Canada, Norway, and Denmark. For the final two years Merci has been engaged on the “In Between” collection which entails portray, sculpture, and animation about reconstructing the ideology of gender, sexuality and wonder.
