Kyrgyzstan says intense fighting taking place on border with Tajikistan

(Reuters) – Kyrgyzstan’s border service reported “intense battles” with Central Asian neighbour Tajikistan on Friday and mentioned it had seen extra Tajik forces and tools being moved to the border.

In an announcement, the border service mentioned its forces had been persevering with to repel Tajik assaults. Each nations have accused one another of restarting combating in a disputed space, regardless of a ceasefire deal.

Individually, the pinnacle of the Kyrgyz state committee on nationwide safety was quoted by Russia’s RIA information company as saying army casualties had been excessive.
