Kelowna, B.C., woman finishes 11th at Boston Marathon
Malindi Elmore, an Olympian and mother from Kelowna, B.C., completed in eleventh place amongst ladies on the Boston Marathon Monday.
With a time of two:27:58 she set a Canadian course report for skilled ladies, an achievement she says was poignant given it was the fiftieth anniversary of girls being allowed to take part. The primary race was in 1897, making it the world’s oldest.
And Elmore says she’s by no means skilled something prefer it.
