Joneljim Cougars post undefeated round robin record with win over Prince County Warriors at Monctonian Challenge Friday
MONCTON, N.B. – The Joneljim Cougars are shifting on to the subsequent spherical of the annual Monctonian Problem after posting their third win of the match on Friday.
The North Sydney-based Cougars downed the Prince County Warriors of Prince Edward Island 5-2 at Crossman CC/Kay Area.
Brody Dawson recorded a hat trick, scoring 3 times, whereas Brody Ford and Tucker Sinclair chipped in with single markers for the Cougars (3-0-0).
Max Gamble and Ayden MacKay replied with targets for the Warriors (2-1-0).
Cougars’ Kayden Mollons picked up the win in purpose. Prince County’s Matthew Rooney was tagged with the loss. Statistics weren’t out there.
The Cougars will now play the Dieppe Flyers at 2 p.m. on Saturday. A win will advance the staff additional within the match.
