CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Joanna Morrison has introduced her candidacy for the P.E.I. Inexperienced Social gathering nomination in Charlottetown-Belvedere within the upcoming provincial election.
“I consider we want extra passionate, progressive candidates within the race. I’m younger, queer, low-income, and a renter, and I don’t typically see myself represented in authorities,” stated Morrison.
“My hope is that by working, I’ll encourage extra of us who’re like me to get entangled in authorities, whether or not by working themselves, getting concerned in the neighborhood, or just simply voting.”
Initially from Alberton, Morrison moved to Charlottetown in 2014 to attend Holland School’s advertising and marketing and promoting administration program.
