P.E.I. musicians take home awards at 2023 ECMAs in Halifax

HALIFAX, N.S. — 5 East Coast Music Awards went to Prince Edward Island performers on the thirty fifth annual celebration of the area’s music, Could 3-7 in Halifax.
The East Pointers led the best way with three ECMA wins: up to date roots recording of the 12 months – “Home Of Goals;” group recording of the 12 months – “Home Of Goals;” pop recording of the 12 months – “Home Of Goals.”
The opposite P.E.I. performers who obtained an award have been Sirens – “In Her Picture” – for the choral recording of the 12 months and Dylan Menzie – “A Piece of Me” – Rising Star recording of the 12 months.
The opposite high award winners from across the area have been David Myles of New Brunswick and Kellie Loder of Newfoundland and Labrador with two every.
Recognition
As well as, a variety of honorary awards have been offered, together with the Dr. Helen Creighton Lifetime Achievement Award to Rawlins Cross, which options singer Joey Kitson from P.E.I.
