Islanders invited to the launch of Unearthing the Past: Archaeological Discoveries on Prince Edward Island

CANADA, June 10 – The official launch of the exhibit, Unearthing the Previous: Archaeological Discoveries on Prince Edward Island, is 10 a.m. Friday, June 17 on the Acadian Museum of Prince Edward Island in Miscouche. 

The exhibition illustrates the occupation of archaeology and options objects that have been unearthed at 4 Acadian and Mi’kmaq websites on Prince Edward Island. 

“We invite all Islanders to go to with their households and be taught extra concerning the historical past of PEI. You’ll be taught many new issues about how Acadian and Mi’kmaq folks lived just a few centuries in the past and about archaeology. We’re happy to welcome everybody to find or rediscover the exhibit, which is able to run till September 4.”

The launch will embody a gap prayer by a Mi’kmaq Elder, remarks by particular visitors, and a viewing of the interactive exhibit.

The exhibit was ready by the Authorities of Prince Edward Island in partnership with the Acadian Museum of Prince Edward Island.
