Hundreds of Minuscule Figures Unite in Pejac’s New Welcome Mat Intervention in Aberdeen

The doorway to a constructing housing a few of Aberdeen’s most susceptible residents and charity organizations is the positioning of the most recent work by Pejac (beforehand). Comprised of minuscule figures congregating as a welcome mat, the streetside intervention confronts the hardships individuals face when relegated to society’s margins. The concept is that they’re “bored with being stepped over,” the artist says, and that there’s hope, dignity, and satisfaction to be discovered after we’re united.

Pejac created the heartfelt piece for the 2022 Nuart Aberdeen (beforehand), which introduced not less than a dozen artists to town this month. For extra of his works, go to Instagram.
