Human remains found in Saint John identified as man missing since 2020

Human stays discovered within the Saint John space have been recognized as Kyle Richard LeBlanc, who’s been lacking since late 2020.

Friday night, a hiker reported the invention of what he believed to be human stays in a densely wooded space between Lakewood Heights and Golden Grove Highway.

Forensic investigators confirmed there have been human stays Friday, and returned Sunday to look a bigger space of about 1.8 acres. They discovered extra stays roughly 100 metres from the place the earlier stays have been discovered.

On Tuesday, investigators confirmed the stays belonged to LeBlanc, 32, who was final seen within the Lakewood Heights space on Dec. 30, 2020.

“In session with an odontologist, human skeletal stays collected from the scene have been positively recognized as Kyle Leblanc,” the discharge mentioned.

Investigators had beforehand performed a lot of searches for LeBlanc within the wooded space in 2021.

Police provided their condolences to LeBlanc’s family and friends.
