Gunshots fired at home during attempted break-in in western P.E.I.
ST. ROCH, P.E.I. — Police say gunshots had been fired at a house throughout an tried break and enter in western P.E.I. on Wednesday, Aug. 31.
Mounties responded to a report of a break-in on Clark Street in St. Roch round 9:30 p.m.
Officers realized that a number of individuals unsuccessfully tried to interrupt into the house with two individuals inside.
The suspects shot on the residence after which fled from the scene. Nobody was injured, police stated.
The RCMP forensic unit responded to the scene together with police canine, the RCMP Main Crime Unit and the Prince District Joint Forces Operations Unit.
