Great Women Painters: An Enormous Volume Surveys the Work of 300 Artists Across 500 Years

In the identical vein as Phaidon’s formidable Nice Ladies Artists and African Artists, a forthcoming e-book from the writer equally widens the artwork historic canon whereas recognizing a few of the most influential and impactful painters working within the medium immediately. The large compilation, titled Nice Ladies Painters, highlights greater than 300 artists throughout 500 years and an unlimited array of actions and aesthetics. Organized alphabetically, the e-book pairs icons like Yayoi Kusama, Frida Kahlo, and Leonora Carrington with up to date artists, together with Ewa Juszkiewicz, Katharina Grosse, and Wangari Mathenge, in a broad and numerous overview of the ladies who’ve had profound impacts on the world immediately. The practically 350-page Nice Ladies Painters shall be launched this fall and is at the moment out there for pre-order from Bookshop.
