Girl, 15, dies after being hit by truck at bonfire in Alexandra, P.E.I.
ALEXANDRA, P.E.I. — A 15-year-old woman from Abegweit First Nation is lifeless after she was hit by a pickup truck in Alexandra on Oct. 2.
An RCMP information launch issued late within the afternoon on Oct. 2 stated Queens District RCMP members had been on patrol close to the Wharf Street round midnight after they noticed 30-40 youths gathered round a bonfire.
Whereas officers had been breaking apart the gathering, they had been alerted a couple of significantly injured woman who was struck by a pickup truck.
Police stated the woman died on the scene from her accidents.
