Germany to provide 37 million euros for Ukraine reconstruction – paper

BERLIN (Reuters) – Germany will present an additional 37 million euros ($40.12 million)to Ukraine for reconstruction on account of the struggle, Augsburger Allgemeine newspaper reported on Friday, citing improvement ministry sources.

Some 22.5 million euros would go into the reconstruction of Ukraine’s energy grid and extra 14.4 million euros can be earmarked to rebuild flats attacked by Russian forces and for medical gear, the newspaper reported.

“My ministry has reallocated funds for this through an emergency programme,” Improvement Minister Svenja Schulze was quoted by the paper as saying.
