Gas prices rise while diesel prices dip in Cape Breton on Friday

SYDNEY, N.S. — Fuel costs are up 2.8 cents per litre whereas diesel prices are down 7.6 cents per litre in Cape Breton after the Nova Scotia Utility and Overview Board’s Friday value adjustment.

In Cape Breton, a litre of standard unleaded self-service gasoline is now promoting for a minimal value of 169.9 cents per litre and a most value of 172.3 cents per litre.

That’s up from April 8’s minimal value of 167.1 cents per litre and most of 169.5 cents per litre.

As for ultra-low sulphur diesel, this week’s costs dropped to 197.3 cents per litre (minimal) and 199.6 cents per litre (most).
