French Open: Canadians Auger-Aliassime, Fernandez advance

Canadians Felix Auger-Aliassime and Leylah Fernandez have each superior to the third spherical of the French Open following straight-set victories on Wednesday.
Auger-Aliassime made fast work of Argentine qualifier Camilo Ugo Carabelli, profitable 6-0, 6-3, 6-4 to maneuver on to the third spherical of the Paris main for the primary time in his profession.
The 21-year-old Montreal product, the event’s ninth seed, fired eight aces and transformed on 5 of 10 break factors in a dominating show on the clay at Roland Garros.
