Bodies burned in Summerland, B.C. car linked to crash 300 km away: Police

SURREY, B.C. — Mounties in British Columbia say there’s a connection between the invention of two our bodies in a burned car in Summerland and the deaths of two individuals in a police chase in Abbotsford a day later.

The RCMP’s southeast district main crime unit says investigators now consider two individuals found Aug. 6 within the burned-out car have been murdered.
They are saying a stolen car that Abbotsford cops tried to cease on Aug. 7 was flagged for police as being related to the deaths.
Abbotsford police mentioned that through the chase a cruiser and the stolen Acura Integra made contact.
The stolen car misplaced management and crashed, killing each the male driver and the feminine passenger.
Police say the murder investigation is ongoing, together with figuring out the victims and figuring out the extent of the involvement of the stolen car.
B.C.’s police watchdog, the Unbiased Investigations Workplace, can also be investigating the police actions involving the chase.
