Four people charged after Summerside motel set on fire in June

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — 4 individuals have been arrested and charged in reference to a hearth at a motel in Summerside which injured one individual and displaced two others in June.

Summerside Police Providers decided the fireplace on the Baker’s Lighthouse Motel in Reads Nook on June 22 to be arson and have been investigating since.

On Sept. 28, at round 5:30 a.m., search warrants have been executed at 4 totally different homes in Summerside, the place police situated and arrested 4 suspects.

Police charged 34-year-old Justin Jerome Perry with arson with disregard for human life, arson inflicting injury to property and possession of an incendiary machine.

Perry has been saved in police custody till his subsequent courtroom look on Oct. 3 at 3 p.m.

The three remaining suspects have been launched from custody on digital monitoring and will likely be showing in courtroom at a later date to reply costs of being an adjunct to arson.
