Firefighters respond to forest fire near Links at Crowbush Cove in P.E.I.

WEST ST. PETERS, P.E.I. — The provincial fireplace marshal is investigating the reason for a forest fireplace close to the Hyperlinks at Crowbush Cove golf course.

In a social submit on Could 1, the RCMP suggested drivers to steer clear of Route 350, often known as Lakeside Highway, the place a forest fireplace was burning.

The RCMP mentioned the forest fireplace was in West St Peters close to the Hyperlinks at Crowbush Cove.

“The RCMP request that the general public chorus from driving on Route 350 to permit emergency crews clear entry to the location,” the discover mentioned.

By 3:45 p.m. the RCMP reported Route 350 was again open.

In an interview, RCMP Constable Gavin Moore mentioned the RCMP have been knowledgeable of the fireplace earlier that day, however there have been no studies of accidents.

Moore wasn’t on the scene, however mentioned he understood the fireplace to be “important.”
