Preliminary hearing begins for Sask. RCMP officer charged with 1st-degree murder

The preliminary listening to for a former RCMP officer accused of first-degree homicide within the demise of 26-year-old Braden Herman started Monday.

The accused, Bernie Herman, was in court docket and sat within the gallery with family and friends. He’s not in police custody and pleaded not responsible in December.
