EU, China to hold trade dialogue amid simmering tensions
BEIJING (Reuters) – The European Union and China will maintain a high-level financial and commerce dialogue on Tuesday amidst tensions over a lot of points together with the struggle in Ukraine, Xinjiang and an as but unratified funding settlement.
“The ninth #EUChina Excessive-Degree Financial & Commerce Dialogue takes place tomorrow 19/07,” Government Vice President of the EU Fee, Valdis Dombrovskis, mentioned on his Twitter account on Monday.
“I look ahead to co-chairing this necessary occasion along with China Vice-Premier Liu He.”
The dialogue can be digital and can happen within the afternoon Beijing time on Tuesday, Western diplomatic sources informed Reuters.
