England’s Paul Casey joins Saudi-backed LIV Golf tour

NORTH PLAINS, Ore. (AP) — Paul Casey, the Englishman ranked No. 26 on the earth, has joined the Saudi Arabia-funded LIV Golf tour.
Casey, who hasn’t performed a event spherical since March due to accidents, plans to make his LIV debut this month on the Trump Nationwide Golf Membership in Bedminster.
Casey, 44, has received 21 instances as an expert, together with thrice on the PGA Tour and 15 instances on the European tour. He has been on 5 Ryder Cup groups.
The upstart LIV collection, fronted by CEO Greg Norman and funded by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, goals to problem the PGA Tour.
