Edmonton Oilers sign forward Carter Savoie to entry-level contract
EDMONTON — The Edmonton Oilers have introduced that they’ve signed ahead Carter Savoie to a three-year, entry-level contract starting with this season.
Savoie, 20, joined Oilers AHL affiliate Bakersfield on April 18 on an beginner tryout contract, showing in two video games and tallying two penalty minutes.
Previous to his time with the Condors, he helped the College of Denver win the 2022 NCAA Nationwide Championship, scoring in three of the staff’s 4 video games through the match.
A sophomore with the Pioneers this season, the St. Albert, Alta., native scored 23 objectives in 39 video games and has racked up 65 factors in 63 video games over the 2 seasons he is performed collegiately.
