Drugs and weapons seized after police search home in Summerside

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Police seized medicine and cash whereas looking out a house in Summerside on Sept. 1 as a part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Officers searched the house on Water Avenue in Summerside, seizing greater than 70 grams of what’s believed to be crystal methamphetamine, reproduction firearms, drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash.

Officers with the Prince District JFO Drug Unit, which is made up of members from the Prince District RCMP, Summerside Police Providers and Kensington Police Providers, performed the search.
