Dramatic video shows crew member’s rescue from sinking ship near Hong Kong

An industrial help ship working within the South China Sea has sunk in a storm with the attainable lack of greater than two dozen crew members, rescue providers in Hong Kong stated Saturday. 

Authorities dispatched planes and helicopters to help within the rescue, with no less than three individuals from the crew of 30 dropped at security as of 5:30 p.m. native time Saturday.

Pictures launched by the Hong Kong Authorities Flying Service confirmed one crew member being winched as much as a rescue helicopter as massive waves lashed the sinking vessel, which had damaged up in two components. 

The accident occurred about 300 kilometres south of Hong Kong.

The Flying Service didn’t give the title or origin of the vessel. It stated in an announcement that crew members had been negotiating difficulties introduced on by tropical storm Chaba, which was packing most winds of 110 km/h. 

The storm made landfall within the western a part of China’s coastal Guangdong province on Saturday. 

The Hong Kong service despatched two fixed-wing plane and 4 helicopters for the rescue effort.
