Peacefully at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton on Monday, July 25, 2022, Donna Ellen Maas (nee Day) of Picton died at 91 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Sydney & Vera Day (nee McCann) and was the adored spouse of Willem Maas and had simply celebrated their sixty fifth wedding ceremony anniversary. Donna was the much-loved mom of Justin of Seattle, Washington, Simon of Toronto, and Adrian (Yaël) of Montreal. She was the proud grandmother of Jack, Sydney, Luc, Chloë, Vivian and Sabine.
Graduate of Queen’s College (’59) Donna maintained a lifelong ardour for literature and artwork. She spent her early years on the Artwork Gallery of Ontario earlier than settling right into a supportive position that noticed the couple construct a life that spanned Montreal, Toronto, Larchmont, New York, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and Vashon Island, Washington earlier than retiring to Picton in 2000.
