Stone isn’t naturally malleable, and but, Japanese artist Hirotoshi Ito (beforehand) carves his sculptures to make the fabric seem as if it may be unzipped or sliced with a butter knife. Utilizing rocks he finds on seashores close to his house in Matsumoto Metropolis, Ito chisels tiny caverns that he strains with clasps or easy fasteners. He then tucks miniature objects like enamel, a group of seashells, and futuristic scenes into these pockets, creating surreal and intriguingly misleading eventualities within the span of some inches.
