Concussion research advanced through Flames player, veterans
Flames ahead Jonathan Huberdeau is pledging to donate his mind for analysis into mind accidents in troopers.
He’s going to donate his mind to Challenge Enlist Canada, which is a program with the Concussion Legacy Basis Canada (CLFC).
This system goals to function a catalyst for analysis on TBI (traumatic mind harm), CTE (power traumatic encephalopathy) and PTSD (post-traumatic stress dysfunction) in navy veterans, so to “assist researchers and clinicians learn to higher deal with and diagnose the signature wound of conflict.”
Huberdeau joins former astronaut and MP Marc Garneau, All-Ivy hockey star Kalley Armstrong, retired main basic Denis Thompson and 170 members and veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces in pledging to donate their brains.
Huberdeau says that he’s conscious of the affect of TBI, concussions and the hyperlink to different psychological well being points. Huberdeau himself had a concussion in 2014. He says that he’s proud to help navy veterans.
“I’m proud to help Canadian navy veterans by pledging to donate my mind to Challenge Enlist and help analysis to enhance the standard of lifetime of all navy personnel who so bravely and courageously served our nation,” he stated in a launch.
