Fire Erupts From a Gigantic Fantastical Dragon-Horse Designed and Operated by La Machine

The road theater group referred to as La Machine revived considered one of its legendary beasts for an ongoing present in Toulouse. “Lengthy Ma,” an infinite dragon-horse hybrid weighing 45 tons and standing 11 meters tall, was initially unleashed in Beijing in 2014 and now joins a minotaur and gigantic spider for an ongoing exhibition at La Halle within the French metropolis. Every day via Could 8, a group of artists animates the mechanical creature, which may be seen trotting, galloping, and rearing upward via the streets whereas she greets her equally large companions.
Able to spitting smoke and water, the fire-breathing “Lengthy Ma” is constructed from a mix of metal, wooden, leather-based, blown glass, golden leaves, horsehair, and textiles. She additionally cradles a Chinese language temple impressed by the Forbidden Metropolis on her again, which is sufficiently big for 35 individuals to affix her on her each day adventures.
