CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The Metropolis of Charlottetown is looking for concepts for the redevelopment of the Queen Parkade.
Town has opened expression of curiosity submissions for any builders trying to revamp the 0.83-acre, city-owned web site on Queen Road.
The property is at the moment getting used as a four-storey parking storage which was inbuilt 1979.
Town will proceed to personal the land and enter a long-term lease settlement with the profitable bidder.
With the property being within the downtown space of Charlottetown, the land can be utilized for flats, consuming and consuming institutions, places of work, accommodations and retail outlets, together with different industrial industries.
The property will proceed to run as a parking storage till a call is made.
Public works committee chair Julie McCabe stated the expression of curiosity is an opportunity to re-imagine how residents can use the area.
