CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown police busted a wished man and seized medicine, weapons and money in a visitors cease Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 18.

Patrol officers in an unmarked automobile noticed the wished 41-year-old Charlottetown man drive by, initiated the cease and safely arrested the suspect.

A search warrant then led to the seizure of two.5 ounces of cocaine, brass knuckles, a baton, different drug paraphernalia and $2,000 in money.

The accused has been charged with possession of cocaine for the aim of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon and breach of a recognizance order. He’ll stay in custody till a provincial courtroom look.

It was the second time this week Charlottetown Police Avenue Crime Unit arrested and filed drug and weapon expenses, following a Tuesday bust on College Avenue by which a 52-year-old man was arrested after being caught with fentanyl, a reproduction firearm, drug paraphernalia and money.
