CBSA confirms multiple search warrants executed in P.E.I.

ALLISTON, P.E.I. — The Canadian Border Providers Company has confirmed it searched a number of properties in P.E.I. on June 21.
In response to a query from SaltWire Community on CBSA exercise in Alliston, which is positioned in Kings County, a spokesperson from the company mentioned a lot of warrants had been executed “at varied areas in Prince Edward Island.”
The spokesperson mentioned the search warrants had been associated to an ongoing Immigration and Refugee Safety Act investigation.
Nevertheless, the spokesperson wouldn’t affirm the place the searches passed off, or if the CBSA exercise in Alliston was associated, because the investigation is ongoing.
