Protest disrupts bus service at Toronto’s Union Station during Friday morning rush hour

TORONTO — Commuters travelling to and from Toronto’s Union Station might face delays this morning as GO Transit says its bus service on the downtown transit hub is disrupted by a protest.
GO Transit says a number of routes are affected, and buses are boarding at alternate areas or being rerouted to connect with GO prepare strains.
The company says the disruption is because of demonstrators proscribing entry to the Union Station bus terminal, and repair modifications can be in place till the protest ends.
Service on the bus terminal has been affected by recurring protests for greater than per week.
Ninety-five employees with the Worldwide Brotherhood of Electrical Staff went on strike on April 20 and began on-and-off demonstrations within the days that adopted.
