An Ottawa man has allegedly been busted with an arsenal of weapons after he was nabbed in a small hamlet south of Rochester.

Cops declare Badri Ahmed-Mohamed, 36, was arrested Sunday afternoon in Mount Morris, New York after being pulled over for dashing in a “routine” visitors cease.

Officers allegedly found the Canadian man was in possession of 58 handguns, together with a number of high-capacity magazines, in a duffel bag within the trunk of his car.

The accused is being held within the Livingston County jail on $100,000 bail dealing with felony weapons prices.

“I used to be patrolling the Village and had a car go me at a excessive fee of velocity,” Officer Kyle Regal advised WHEC.

Police Chief Jeff Wiedrick added: “I feel it’s important to take 58 handguns off the road. These are 58 weapons that may’t be utilized by criminals.”

Based on cops, Ahmed-Mohamed was allegedly trafficking the weapons throughout Canada and the U.S.

Lots of the weapons smuggled into Canada are bought at gun exhibits in southern states like Virginia after which pushed north on the backroads by way of small cities.
