Canadian figure skater Veronik Mallet announces retirement

OTTAWA – Canadian determine skater Veronik Mallet introduced her retirement from aggressive skating on Thursday.

The 28-year-old from Sept-Îles, Que., Que. received silver within the ladies’s single competitors on the Canadian determine skating championships in January. Mallet had beforehand received bronze twice at nationals — in 2015 and 2019.
