Canada’s Brown wins 100-metre gold at Diamond League stop in Birmingham
BIRMINGHAM, United Kingdom — Canada’s Aaron Brown edged Jamaica’s Yohan Blake to win gold within the males’s 100 metres on Saturday on the Diamond League cease in Birmingham, England.
Brown, from Brampton, Ont., completed first in 10.13 seconds. Blake took silver in 10.18 and Jerome Blake of Burnaby, B.C., earned bronze in 10.20. Andre de Grasse of Markham, Ont., was fourth in 10.24.
