Bus passes will be cheaper on P.E.I. this summer

The price of month-to-month bus passes for all routes within the province will likely be lower by greater than half this summer season to assist Islanders cope with rising inflation.

From June till September, the price of a month-to-month transit go will likely be $20 for adults, down from $45.

Seniors and post-secondary college students pays $10, down from $35.

All transit routes on Prince Edward Island are free for kids and college students Okay-12.

Month-to-month transit passes could be bought at Buyers Drug Mart and Murphy’s Pharmacy places within the Charlottetown space, the T3/Maritime Bus terminal, Holland School bookstore, city and metropolis halls in Stratford, Cornwall and Charlottetown, and thru the HotSpot cell app.

Transportation and Infrastructure Minister James Aylward mentioned the lower in public transportation fares is meant to alleviate among the monetary pressures on Island households.
