Beyond Meat eliminates supply chain chief role after exec steps down

(Reuters) – Past Meat Inc stated on Friday it will get rid of the position of chief provide chain officer after Bernie Adcock notified he would step down from the position, efficient Sept. 30.

The plant-based meat producer stated interim chief working officer and senior vp of producing operations, Jonathan Nelson, will oversee the corporate’s provide chain obligations as soon as Adcock leaves.

Past Meat added Adcock was leaving to take one other alternative.

Earlier this week, Nelson was tasked with overseeing operations on an interim foundation after working chief Doug Ramsey was arrested for allegedly biting a person’s nostril.

Surging inflation has dampened the corporate’s efforts to make its pricier plant-based meat extra reasonably priced to customers forcing it to decrease its income forecast for 2022 and reduce 4% of its world workforce in August.
