Man, 19, charged after older man sprayed with animal repellant in Summerside

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 19-year-old man is dealing with assault with a weapon and breach of probation fees after allegedly spraying a 68-year-old man with a chemical animal repellant on Friday, July 22.

Shortly after 8 p.m., Summerside police had been referred to as to a lodge parking zone within the Central Avenue space to a report that an individual had been sprayed within the face with a chemical.
