Six rescued from water after boats collide in Rotterdam

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – Six individuals needed to be rescued from Rotterdam harbour on Thursday after the water taxi they have been travelling in collided with a bigger sightseeing boat and sank, native authorities mentioned.

Not one of the six have been injured however all have been taken to hospital as a precaution, the emergency providers mentioned, including that every one on board, who included one little one, have been accounted for.

The collision, whose circumstances weren’t instantly clear, occurred near the town’s Erasmus Bridge and led to water site visitors on the Nieuwe Maas river close to the bridge being suspended for a number of hours.
