Argentina accelerates hike in minimum wage

(Reuters) – Argentina will enhance its month-to-month minimal wage to 45,540 pesos ($389.46) in June and to 47,850 pesos in August, the Ministry of Economic system stated on Tuesday.

“The will increase in (minimal wage) that had been scheduled for August and December respectively have been introduced ahead to safeguard their buying energy,” the Normal Work Federation (CGT) stated in a press release.
